BECOME A MEMBER

HISH membership is available to any organisation or community group interested in STEM.

Membership provides many benefits as outlined below.
Become a HISH member and unlock a range of benefits:
  • Funding Opportunities: Apply for small event grants (under $500) and gain eligibility for larger Industry and government grants.
  • Event Insurance: Receive public liability insurance coverage for your approved, co-branded HISH events.
  • Powerful Promotion: We'll promote your events and initiatives to our extensive network of schools, councils, industry partners, and community and government members.
  • Community Engagement: Secure a spot at the Hunter Science Festival, reaching over 3,000 people.
  • Expert Networking: Connect with and be mentored by award-winning academics, educators, and leaders in the STEM field.
  • Contribute & Collaborate: Play an active role in shaping science engagement across the Hunter Region.

Membership Details at a Glance
  • Individual Membership: $22 (inc. GST)
  • Organisational Membership: $99 (inc. GST)
  • Membership Period: July 1 to June 30 annually.

    Membership fees help pay for the running expenses for HISH including:
  • Public Liability Insurance & Volunteer Insurance
  • Website Maintenance
